Abstract
This is a poster that was presented at the 2018 Science, Mathematics & Engineering (SME) Symposium at Salt Lake Community College. The presenter: Paulina Martinez-Koury, Cell Biology Gene Annotation Project, Salt Lake Community College. The SLCC Genome Annotation Project continually works in conjunction with the Department of Energy's Joint Genome Institute and with the Microbial Genome Annotation Network to use computational biology to sequence the genome of Halogeometricum borinquense. the proposed hypothesis for this presentation is that locus HBOR_RS04855 is a protein coding gene lead to the identification of the gene as a HPS40 (Heat shock protein)/DNAJ Co Chaperone Protein.
