Abstract

Remarks made by President Jay L. Nelson at the funeral of Burton A. Talmage on June 19, 1984. The speech includes remarks about Talmage's responsibilities at Salt Lake Vocational School, SLTTI, and Trade Tech, his unique personal traits, and tributes to Burt. Talmage began his career at the College as Manager of the Bookstore at SLAVS. Slowly more and more responsibilities were added to his position culminating in the positions of Vice President for Promotion and Development as well as Vice President for Business.
