Abstract
This is a digital story created by the Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) Digital Archives in Fall 2013. Mixing images of the Markosian Library (at the SLCC Taylorsville-Redwood Campus), audio from interviews with SLCC Libraries Staff, and sound clips from www.FreePlayMusic.com, this digital story highlights what people from various backgrounds and perspectives think about libraries and why libraries are important. Published to co-incide with the 20th Anniversary of the Dedication of the Markosian Library (16 November 1993). A lower resolution streaming version can be accessed at https://vimeo.com/79339662.
