Tugboat Preparing to Tow the USS Daniel I Sultan into Harbor at Vung Tau, Vietnam

"I took this from the rail. It shows the tug preparing to guide us into the harbor at Vung Tau, S. Vietnam. My Brigade shipped to Nam on the USS Daniel I Sultan, a WWII troop ship. Took us 3 weeks with a few hours stopover on Okinawa. Rough seas all the way. Lost one man the night we sailed from Okinawa. Don't know what happened. The ship circled, in the dark for a time looking for him." Photo and comment by William Carr Jr.
