"The Reality of Abstraction: Painting in Utah 1946-1996," features paintings by three Utah artists. Exhibition held in the Main Gallery space November 22, 1996 - January 21, 1997. "In An Abstract Light: Bob Bauer, Time Gallagher, Bill Lee," features abstract photographs by Bill Lee, Tim Gallagher and Bob Bauer. The photographs show inventive photographic renderings of stained metal, decaying woodwork, painted walls with graphic symbols and messages. Exhibition held in the Upper Gallery space November 15, 1996 - January 5, 1997.
