Command Sgt. Major Willie G. Anderson, he was a WW II, Korean, and soon to be a Vietnam Veteran. He was wounded in Vietnam at Cu Chi, was shot in his ear, was very lucky. The day after he got shot in the ear lobe he put in his retirement papers and that is when A Troop 1st Sgt. Max Davenport became the Squadron Command Sgt Major of the Squadron.
