United States Navy Vessel with American, South Vietnamese and Australian Personnel
A United States Navy vessel with American, South Vietnamese and Australian personnel are on board in the Mekhong Delta in 1970. The Americans tried hard to gain control of this part of South Vietnam which, although close to Saigon, remained a center of Viet Cong activity. Patrolling the Delta was a significant aspect of the American experience in Vietnam.
