The Hueys would taxi right outside our hootch's back door. We'd set out there in the evenings and wave and drink beer. On occasion if they were coming in late we'd run over and hand all the guys a cold beer as they hovered past. Bad side, the Dinks knew where the Birds were and on occasion try to mortar them. When SF was sent back to the states I was transferred to the ROK 9th as NCOIC. I participated in several missions.
