Vietnamese Marines fight communist infiltrators in Gia Dinh. ARVN marines advance toward dug in Viet Cong troops in Gia Dinh three miles northeast of the Presidential Palace in Saigon, June 5, 1968. The combat-hardened Marines carry gas masks. The tank in the background suffered some damage the previous day from communist gunfire. The man on the left carries a 57mm recoilless rifle into battle.
