Second Lieutenant John ‘Lofty’ Dwyer of 1RAR stands in front of a typical Viet Cong bunker in Ho Bo Woods during Operation Crimp. The bunker’s roof was constructed of hard packed, baked mud that set like concrete. January 1966.
