D-Troop Huey bringing back a distressed Light Observation Helicopter (LOH). "He Ain't Heavy - He's My Brother… D-Troop Huey bringing back a distressed Little Bird. I believe this was the A/Craft Mr. Woods crashed in in 1970, or perhaps it was the one Mr. McQue crashed in 1971 close to Me Lai - I'll never forget that day for it was the day I heard him say (as I asked him to hold out to the east while we were inserting the Sabre Blues) - "Wait a minute, wait a minute - I think I've just crashed"." -Vietnam Veteran. Photo and comment by David Adams, a Cobra pilot in the gun group during the years 1970-1971 with the Scout Platoon, D-Troop, 1st Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment. 1969-1970.
