Single sheet, multi-lingual dinner menu for Il Fornaio Gastronomia Italiana printed on cream paper with black ink. The cover of the menu displays an oval black logo graphic with white print containing the restaurant name. The name of the chef is placed in the upper left corner along with the location of the restaurant. The menu is written in Italian with English translations beneath. A black border surrounds the menu which is divided into five menu categories: appetizers, from the grill, from the rotisserie, specialties, and cake. Food options range from skewered duck livers with bacon, to Hawaiian swordfish, to leg of lamb stuffed with sausage, to pasta with seafood, and ricotta and raspberry cheese cake. A wine list is also available. A note at the bottom of the menu reads that due to a shortage, water will only be served upon request. The back side of the menu relates the history of the restaurant from its foundation in Milan, Italy to the creation of the San Franciscan location. Mention is made of the fine quality of food served at the restaurant and the authentic Italian regional recipes used.
