The front cover of this unusual menu features a booklet format with the fold at the middle of the menu. The inside menu pages are attached to the cover by two gold threaded cords found on the left and right sides of the cover. The cords are tied in knots that are visible on the sides of the menu. The front cover displays a red background with a gold circle centered on the page. A tag line printed on the circle states, "And now...embark upon a fantastic voyage in dining." Above the circle, two white graphic Chinese dragons are found facing the centered vertical fold. When opened at the fold, the first stage of the opened menu is displayed and features four page divisions. The section on the left displays six plastic card holders. The two center sections contain food choice categories which include dinner options for two and three people, noodles, eggs, chop suey and rice. The section on the right displays six more plastic card holders. The second stage of the opened menu shows four sections of menu pages, as well as the threaded cords holding the pages to the menu cover. Menu options on the four pages include dinner for four, and a la carte options. The third stage of the opened menu displays three sections. The sections on the left and right display more a la carte options. The center section displays a graphic of a chef displaying various food items including chicken, seafood and vegetables. Information regarding the restaurant is found below, including how to order a Chinese meal, "know your vessel" and "know your dragons." A red graphic logo of the ship Oceania is found centered on the page. A text box containing "A voyagers guide to the ship Oceania" is found at the bottom of the menu.
