Single sheet dinner menu for the Flagship Restaurant at the Galt House Hotel is printed on cream colored paper with black ink. The top of the front cover of the menu presents a graphic logo of a flying horse above the name of the restaurant, "The Flagship." Another graphic drawing is found below of two large buildings beside a river, with a ferry boat sailing past. The entire cover is surrounded by a thin black border. The center of the unfolded inside of the menu displays the winged horse and name of the restaurant. The left side of the menu displays the appetizers, soup and salad menu categories. The right side displays classic selections. Food choices range from escargot, to Kentucky green pepper chowder, to Caesar salad, to filet of beef, to broiled Atlantic swordfish, and chicken marengo. The back cover of the menu presents a welcome to the 119th running of the Kentucky Derby. A list of previous derby winners is printed below.
