Dinner MenuTri-foldMulti-lingual MenuA La Carte Menu
Single sheet, a la carte, dinner menu for the Italian Village Restaurant chain is printed on white paper with black ink. The front side of the menu displays a fancy black border graphic with vining leaves which surrounds three edges of the menu. This border graphic is reproduced on each page of the menu. Inside the border are printed the names of three restaurants in the Italian Village Restaurant chain owned and operated by the Capitanini family since 1927. The Village, La Cantina Enoteca, and Vivere are printed on the page, each with its own brief description about the founding of the restaurant, types of cuisine, locations, and hours of operation. The inside flaps of the open menu show how the menu looks when being opened. This view shows the left section of the unfolded inside of the menu and the left section of the unfolded backside of the menu. The unfolded inside of the menu displays three sections. The section on the left contains soups, appetizers, poultry, seafood, steaks and chops. The section in the center contains three menu selections placed within text boxes beneath the title, "tonight's specials." The rest of the center is devoted to items entitled "For the gourmet." The section on the right side contains food choices under the heading of "Italian Specialties." The bottom half of the right side is devoted to an explanation of the international wines served. A graphic of a bunch of grapes is found next to the wine information. The unfolded backside of the menu displays three sections. The section on the left side features the heading "Pasta, Pasta, Pasta" and contains pasta related food options. The center section offers salads, pizza, sandwiches, potatoes and vegetable choices. The section on the right side is a view of the menu cover. Food selections range from seafood ravioli pasta, to spinach salad, to vegetarian pizza, to pollo all' alfredo, to prime sirloin steak, and boneless chicken alla sorrentina.
