Mission Inn Luncheon Menu
Single sheet, tri-fold, lunch menu for the Mission Inn. Menu was printed in 1914 and is very worn with age. Menu is printed on beige paper in light brown font. The front cover of the menu has a line down the center where it opens from the middle. The name of the restaurant is at the top of the page. The restaurant location is at the bottom of the page. there is a graphic border around the edge of the cover. The inside flap of the menu shows the flap on the right still closed and the flap on the left open, revealing part of the inside of the menu. This view shows how the menu looks as it is being opened. the unfolded inside of the menu is divided into three sections. The first section on the left and the third section on the right both features graphic filled backgrounds in light brown on beige paper. The second section in the middle is entitled, "Midday Meal." There is a light brown thick line border around the menu items. the menu is dated, November 23, 1914. Menu items include entrees, side dishes, meats, cakes, and beverages. the bottom of the page lists times of Cathedral Organ Music. There is a long quote at the bottom of the menu. the unfolded Back side of the menu is divided into three sections. The first and third sections are the front cover of the menu. The second section in the middle displays a large graphic in light brown surrounded by a graphic line border. Menu items range from baked halibut, to corned beef, to veal, to corn muffins, to roast beef, to vegetable salad, to cake, and crackers.
