Booklet style lunch and dinner menu for the Mira Mar Restaurant is printed on graphic paper with blue, brown, red and black inks and bound together by a brown leather cord. The end of the leather cord is fastened by a knot which is visible on the cover. The front cover of the menu is printed on graphic paper which displays a map of the southern California coast line in the area of San Diego. Various smaller graphics including a ship, sword fish, and old mission building are also found. A red boarder representing a nautical theme surrounds the entire cover, front and back. The unfolded inside of the menu is divided into two sections. The section on the left side displays the red nautical border which surrounds the entire page. "Mira Mar" is printed at the top in large red letters with menu categories beneath consisting of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and desserts. A small graphic of an anchor attached to a rope is visible. Food choices range from shrimp salad with Louie dressing, to tuna salad sandwich, and strawberry shortcake. The section on the right side of the page features entrees, and specialties. Two graphics of an anchor with rope and a sail boat serve as text boxes for the specialties choices and two combo dinners. Food choices range from New England baby scallops to breaded veal cutlet, to Welsh rarebit, and roast prime rib of beef. The graphic paper on the back cover of the menu continues the California coast line further up the coast to the Los Angeles area. A graphic of a large red nautical compass and the island of Catalina are also shown.
