The Markosian Library (Taylorsville Redwood Campus) hosts the annual Salt Lake Community College Edible Books Contest in April. Eligibility for participation is available to students, faculty, staff and Administrators. Prizes are awarded by a special panel of judges in each of the following categories: Most Edible, Most Literary, Most Artistic, Most Humorous, People's Choice. Entries are dropped off at the Markosian Library main floor lobby (Taylorsville Redwood Campus). Public voting for People's Choice Award andPanel judging for Most Edible, Most Literary, Most Artistic, & Most Humorous occur between noon-2p.m. Once the votes are tallied and winners are announced; tastings for all attendees commences. By the end of day contestants pick up their remaining items; Winners are contacted by library staff.
