Vietnamese soldiers trudge past a grieving mother praying for daughter and daughter-in-law in their coffins. Both were killed during heavy fighting between ARVN troops and Viet Cong as the Viet Cong attacked An Nhon hamlet in Go Vap District, Gia Dinh Province. At the same time others were striking at the capital city and other areas of the Republic as the populace celebrated the TET (new year - The Year of the Monkey) season on the early morning hours of January 31, 1968.
