Description: On Monday, March 31, 1969 at 11:00 AM, Utah Tech held a memorial service in memory of former President Dwight David Eisenhower. This was the date that President Richard Nixon proclaimed as a national day of mourning in honor of Former President Eisenhower. Governor Rampton had asked Utah Schools to conduct memorial services. President Jay L. Nelson delivered the Moment of Silence and Comments portion of the program. Both the Program and the comments made by President Nelson are included in this document.
